a photography experience that celebrates the magic of real life.

They're more than just photographs. You'll come out of your lifestyle photography session with a bunch of little time capsules that will transport you back to those moments in the frame for years to come. Whether it's your family history, the end of a chapter, or the beginning of a new one, your photos weave a story that is unique to you.

My approach

Lasting heirlooms

There's a profound beauty in the tangible. I believe in preserving memories not just digitally, but as something you can touch & pass down through generations. That's why I pour my heart into crafting exquisite albums, fine art prints, and more that serve as timeless family heirlooms & become living parts of your home. Life moves fast, and investing in tangible photos is a way to anchor yourself to what truly matters – connections, laughter, and love – preserving them for lifetimes to come.

here's how it goes—

Super 8 short films—

Sometimes the photos just don't do the belly laughs justice. Add a 2-3 minute short film shot during your session on my trusty Super 8 movie camera.

F A Q

What types of photography do you offer?

I love shooting a little bit of everything – families, graduating seniors, and couples as well as headshots and personal & small business branding photography.

Do you have a studio?

I do! I work out of a beautiful shared studio with amazing natural light, and your session can take place here at no additional cost. Please note that while your studio session will be private & without interruption, this is a shared space, so specific dates cannot be guaranteed until your session is fully booked. For this reason, studio sessions must be fully booked at least 30 days in advance of your preferred session date — the earlier, the better.

What is heirloom artwork?

Heirloom artwork includes custom-framed fine art prints, various wall art, albums, and more made to order featuring the beautiful photos from your lifestyle photography session. You'll get to see tangible samples of the artwork I offer during your viewing & ordering session!

Where can my photography session take place?

Your photo session can take place wherever you want! At booking, you'll receive a comprehensive location guide that includes all of my favorite spots throughout the Kansas City metro, but these are just suggestions! I'm open to all of your ideas. As long as it's a public location or private location that you personally have access to (like your own home or a friend's property), we're good to go.

How much should I expect to invest?

During our initial call, I'll prepare a custom proposal just for you! This will cover your lifestyle photography session time and all planning as well as heirloom artwork.

What is a viewing & ordering session?

We'll pick a date after your photography session for your viewing & ordering session. Ideally, this will take place at your home but can also take place virtually. I'll show you all of the photos from your photography session in a grand reveal and introduce you to the heirloom artwork that I offer—wall art, albums, and more.

We had an amazing experience with Annie! I've wanted family photos forever, and I'm so glad I trusted Annie to take them. She captured both wonderful posed photos and candids that really captured our kids' personalities. You will be thrilled with Annie's work!
